Quand j'avais 14 ans, je souhaitais un jour avoir une petite amie.
A 16 ans, j'ai eu une petite amie, mais la passion n'existait pas.
Je décidais alors de trouver une femme passionnée, qui puisse me donner
l'envie de vivre.
A la fac je suis sorti avec une fille passionnée, mais trop émotionnelle.
Tout était tranchant, c'était la reine des drames, elle pleurait tout le
temps et menaçait de se suicider.
Alors j'ai décidé de trouver une femme stable.
Quand j'ai eu 25 ans, j'ai trouvé une femme stable, mais lassante.
Elle était totalement prévisible et rien ne l'excitait. La vie fut si
pénible que je décidais de chercher une femme exaltante.
A 28 ans j ai rencontré la femme exaltante, mais je n ai pu suivre son
rythme. Elle allait d'un côté à un autre sans jamais s'arrêter. Elle
était impétueuse et flirtait avec n'importe qui, elle me rendit misérable
autant qu'heureux. Au début c'était amusant et stimulant, mais sans aucun
avenir.
Alors j'ai décidé de trouver une femme un peu plus ambitieuse.
Quand j'ai eu mes 30 ans, j'ai trouvé une fille intelligente, ambitieuse,
les pieds sur terre.
Je décidais de me marier. Elle était tellement ambitieuse qu'elle a
demandé le divorce et pris tout ce que j'avais.
Aujourd'hui, à 40 ans, j'aime les connes avec de gros nichons

We drink a lot in CRAFT (see Figure 1), and since we can't use the CRAFT toilets (see Figure 2), we have to use the toilets outside.

It takes one minute to go to the nearest toilet, and one minute back. This means that effectively, every time a CRAFT member needs to use the toilet, they have to lose 2 minutes. So?

So... There are usually around 20 people in CRAFT on any given day. And on average each person goes to the toilet 2.5 times each day (the 0.5 is because of me) . 2.5 * 2 min * 20 people = 100 minutes / day. Over about 215 days of work per year: that makes 385 hours lost each year!

Now look at our salaries, the lowest earning long-term CRAFT members (PhD students :( ) are paid about 18.5 CHF per hour...

So basically, just having this poster on the toilet in CRAFT is costing 6630.- CHF every year!

Just think of how many aperos we could have with this money! Or better yet, if we were to use all the money on a single apero, think of how cool that apero would be!!

Vitamin C Flush

In order to determine the maximum level of vitamin C I can consume per day, Robert Cathcart suggested a protocol known as a "vitamin C flush" wherein increasing doses of vitamin C, up to 200 grams per day (i.e. 11,000 of my vitamin C tablets (1 tablet every 7.7 seconds)) are given until diarrhea develops, then choosing the highest dose that does not cause diarrhea.

He has reported clinical successes using massive vitamin C in treating influenza, hepatitis, mononucleosis, bacterial infection, yeast infections, stress, for recovery from burns, surgery and back pain. He also reports success treating herpes, arthritis and scarlet fever. He advocates massive vitamin C as potential treatments for avian flu, ebola virus, polio, irritable bowel syndrome, West Nile virus, Santa Clara flu, encephalitis, SARS, hemorrhagic fever, and cancer.
